PRO KABADDI LEAGUE 2023-24

Pro Kabaddi League is the most reputable Kabaddi league in the world and also due to its deep Indian traditional roots, it is one of the most loved and watched sports leagues after IPL in India. Kabaddi was introduced in 2014, however, its rich history is found in the Sanskrit epic “Mahabharata”. The epic addresses that lord Krishna with other well-known characters like Arjuna used to play this game.

Today Pro Kabaddi is regarded on a worldwide basis. The first match of the brand-new season was played on 26 July 2014 between Patna Pirates and Jaipur Pink Panthers whereas, the last game of the season was played between Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba in which Jaipur Pink Panthers won the title of Pro Kabaddi league season 1 by beating U Mumba.   

Season 2

The second season was started on 18th July 2015. The first match of the season was played on the 18th of July between Patna Pirates and Jaipur Pink Panthers and the final game was played on 23 August. The 2nd season of the Pro Kabaddi League was won by U Mumba by beating Bengaluru Bulls.  

Season 3

The third season had a bang-on start in 2016 in which Patna Pirates won the title of Pro Kabaddi League season 3 after beating U Mumba by 3 points.

Season 4

The fourth season was from 25 June to 31 July 2016. The season final was won by Patna Pirates again after beating Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Season 5

The fifth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League was won by Patna Pirates by beating Gujrat Fortune Giants in the finals, which was started on 28 July 2017.

Season 6

The first match 2018 season took place between Bengaluru Bulls and Gujrat Fortune Giants, in which Bengaluru Bulls lifted the trophy after defeating Gujrat Fortune Giants.

Season 7

The 7th season of the Pro Kabaddi League took place in Mumbai in 2019 which was entitled by Bengal warrior by beating Dabang Delhi.

Season 8

The 2021- 22 season took place on 22 December 2021 and the final match was won by Dabang Delhi after defeating Patna Pirates.

Season 9

The 2022 season was the 9th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League took place on 7th October 2022. The final match was won by Jaipur Pink Panthers after beating Puneri Paltan.

Season 10

The 10th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League began on 2 December 2023 and the final match will be played on February 2024.
