Gear up Football fans, the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is around the corner.  Yes, you heard it right, the official dates for the 21st edition of the FIFA Club World Cup have been announced. The FIFA Club World Cup is one of the most prestigious Football tournaments among Football fanatics. It is an international men’s football competition organized by the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA). FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will start on June 15 and will continue till 13th July. The season will be hosted by the United States.

The very first season of FIFA Club World Cup 2025 took place on the 5th of Jan, 2000. The 1st season was hosted by Brazil. A total of eight teams participated including South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and so on. The final was scheduled on January 14th, 2000 at Estadio do Maracana in Rio de Janeiro in which Corinthians emerged as the winner of group A and Vasco da Gama as group B.

Format of FIFA Club World Cup 2025

The brand-new season of the FIFA Club World Cup is going to start. A total of 32 clubs will take part from six different continental confederations. This time it is going to be hosted by the United States of America. The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will be played on different stages including the group stage and knockout stage, quarter-final, semifinal, and finals. Here is how the tournament structure is divided

Group stage -A total of 32 teams will play in the first stage, which means the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 group stage. These 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups, 4 teams each. The top two teams from the group stage will be playing in the next round i.e. knockout stage.

Knockout Stage- In this stage top 16 teams that are promoted from the group stage will play. The formal will be a single-elimination match. Then, there will be other rounds, like quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. In the finals, the two winners from the Semifinals compete against each other to become the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 champions.
